2024 Mandarin Summer Camp

Following the resounding success of our 2023 summer camp we’re planning another unforgettable, five-day immersion experience this summer in Cheddar, South-West England, home to stunning countryside including the breathtaking Cheddar Gorge!

On our immersive camp, you’ll join a small group of seven adult learners for a unique adventure, full of fun cultural activities and total immersion in the Mandarin language. Join us as we make dumplings, learn Tai Chi, do calligraphy, play Go, and watch Chinese movies, among other exciting activities.

We’ll also be spending plenty of time in the outdoors, exploring the surrounding countryside together, all the while supported by our amazing team of native-speaker volunteers and tutors.

We'll be staying at the YHA Cheddar Barton hostel, where we'll have the entire building to ourselves, The perfect spot for five days of total Mandarin immersion!
