Mission
We organise Mandarin Retreats in the UK, bringing adult Chinese learners of all levels together with native speakers and tutors for five-day camps full of fun activities and cultural exploration – all in Mandarin Chinese.
Our retreats provide Chinese learners from across Europe the opportunity to practise and learn the language in a supportive, immersive environment without the need to buy a plane ticket to China or move to another continent.
You don't need to be an advanced learner to participate. All levels (including beginners) are encouraged to take part and will be fully supported by our experienced team of Chinese tutors and organisers.

Hack Chinese is a spaced-repetition-based vocabulary learning tool. It’s simple, specialised for Mandarin Chinese, and really effective. Think Anki, but easy to use! We can’t recommend it enough for building your vocabulary and memorising characters. Anyone who books on one of our retreats will receive two month’s free access to Hack Chinese.

Join us for one of our retreats where we will explore the local countryside, play mahjong and make dumplings together while immersing in the Chinese language. Our professional Chinese teachers will be hosting several activities for a full-on cultural immersion experience.
